Tall Ships

Going to see the Tall Ships in Chicago was the highlight of our summer with the grandkids! This tour comes around every three years. There were 14 tall ships at this year's festival. We surprised the kids with a limo ride from Bob's office down to Navy Pier, where the tall ships were. We also surprised them with a 75-minute cruise on Chicago's own "Windy" tall ship. It is a 4-masted, gaff topsail schooner and is 148' long. We set sail at 12:30 p.m. It was a gorgeous, sunny day and we enjoyed every minute! Here are a few LOs to document our trip. 8.11.13
